Alia Bhatt, the renowned actor, made an unexpected appearance at the recent concert of Norwegian DJ Alan Walker in Bengaluru. Footage shared on social media captured the actor, attired in a blue denim strapless co-ord set, making her way onto the stage during the event held on Friday.
As she entered, the song “Chal Kudiye” from her forthcoming film Jigra played in the background. Addressing the audience, the 31-year-old actress exclaimed, “Namaskara Bengaluru. Surprise, surprise.” The production company Dharma Movies, responsible for the Vasan Bala-directed Jigra, also posted a video featuring Alia and Walker on its official Instagram account. The studio expressed gratitude, stating, “Surprise, surprise! Thank you for your energy, #Bengaluru, and your love, @alanwalkermusic! #Jigra releasing in Hindi & Telugu — in cinemas this Friday.”
Alan Walker, a significant figure in the electronic music industry known for hits such as “Faded” and “On My Way,” is currently on a 10-city tour across India. His ‘WalkerWorld India’ tour commenced in Kolkata on September 27 and includes stops in Shillong, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, concluding on October 20 in Hyderabad.
Bhatt’s film Jigra is set to premiere in theaters on October 11. The movie, which Bhatt co-produced through her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions alongside Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, narrates the story of Satya, a young woman determined to rescue her brother Ankur, portrayed by Vedang Raina, who is incarcerated in a foreign prison.
