Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed puja-archana of Lord Vishwakarma in the technical room at the Chief Minister’s residence on Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the supreme architect of the universe, the creator of mechanical science and architectural Vedas. Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the Ishtadev of fields like construction, workmanship, craftsmanship, engineering, etc. He is the God worshipped in the machinery and craft industries. It is a matter of pride that the Vishwakarma community, with their hard work and dedication, played a significant role in the development of the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today is a very pious day. On one hand, it is the day of Lord Vishwakarma, the founder of Shilpa Shastra, while on the other hand, we are also celebrating Anant Chaturdashi for Shri Ganesh and Shri Hari, the God of knowledge, wisdom, and prosperity. I pray that the Almighty showers blessings on the people of the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today is also the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who is making crores of youth of the country self-reliant through important campaigns like Skill India. It is noteworthy that last year, Prime Minister Shri Modi had launched the Rs 13 thousand crore Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, the objective of which is to make the Vishwakarma community associated with technology and craftsmanship economically prosperous.
Through this scheme, they are getting an opportunity to further hone their skills, which is bringing positive changes in their lives. Madhya Pradesh government is committed to 100 percent implementation of Vishwakarma Yojana.
