Two consecutive monsoon systems forming within two weeks have intensified the weather activity. Last week, a system that originated in the Bay of Bengal caused devastation in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat with heavy rainfall, before turning into Cyclone Asna in the Arabian Sea and gradually weakening, eventually moving away from India towards Pakistan. Meanwhile, a new low-pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal, which will gradually intensify and bring heavy rainfall to these same states, finally reaching Gujarat.
